Each spring, nearly three
hundred girls, ranging in age from 6 to 16 years old, benefit from the
tireless efforts of volunteer managers, coaches and umpires, learning and
perfecting their individual skills as team members. Many of these girls
then go on to form the nucleus of their high school Junior Varsity and
Varsity teams. The County does not fund this program. It relies solely on registration donations and sponsorships from the Community. Community sponsorship accounts for most of our funds to purchase equipment and uniforms. It would be appreciated if you would join our program by becoming a sponsor. In return for your donation of $250, the team and yourself will receive uniform shirts with your organization’s name and/or logo on them. In addition, you will receive a team picture with a recognition plaque showing the team you have sponsored. If your team wins a trophy for the season or the tournament, then you too will receive a trophy. You will also receive additional exposure as the players wear their shirts throughout the year, both in and out of the community. We are looking forward to you becoming a sponsor for the Girls’ Softball program. If you have a preference as to a particular manager or player that you would like to sponsor, please indicate that information on the form. Also include the format, name/logo/telephone number, etc., you would like to have on the uniform shirt. Your donation should be made payable to Reisterstown Recreation Council and mailed to me along with the information above to ensure that your sponsorship is recorded and shirts are ordered promptly.
