Summer Playground location:

Reisterstown Elementary School at 223 Walgrove Road, Reisterstown MD 21136 from June 27 through August 4 (tentative) Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 4:45 pm

Extended Camp location:

Reisterstown Regional Park (401 Mitchell Drive) from August 8 through August 19 Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 4:45 pm

Before- and aftercare hours and cost:

For both programs are available from 8:00 - 9:00am and/or 4:45 - 5:30p at a cost of $30 per child per week.

Ages:

 This program is for children ages 6 to 13 as of June 27, 2011. Five-year-olds may be accepted if they:
(1) turn 6 during program,
(2) are entering 1st grade in Sept. and
(3) have an older sibling in program.

Volunteers:

 Students pursuing volunteer hours must be 14 to work with this program. Please call recreation office 410-887-1142 to submit your name for consideration as a volunteer.

Playground (weeks 1-6) and Extended Camp (weeks 7 & 8) Dates:

EARLY PAYMENT AND SIBLING DISCOUNT AVAILABLE THROUGH 5/31/11!
Please refer to the payment schedule on the parent letter for full listing of discounted rates. Please note: If you do not pay registration fees in full by 5/31/11, the unpaid portion of your registration will revert to the regular program rate of $125.00 per child per week for this program.

PROGRAM COST:
 
Playground and Extended Camp programs are $125.00 per week and before & after care is $30.00 per week. There are currently openings for all 8 weeks. Please contact reist.summerplayground@gmail.com for more info.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
 
Included in the registration cost are field trips (transportation & admission) for participants. Activities include indoor and outdoor sports, games, arts & crafts, color wars, nature activities, swimming, roller-skating, and a talent show at the end. Participants may register for any or all eight weeks. At least a one week fee is necessary to process registration. Partial-week payments will not be accepted. Please indicate ALL weeks desired by checking boxes at the bottom of the registration form. Payment for additional weeks must be made by the Friday before the week begins.
