The Reisterstown Recreation Council is made up hard working volunteers dedicated to serving the recreational needs of the Community of Reisterstown. Without the help from the Community, programs and events would not be possible. Recreation Council Meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of each month (no meetings in July and August) at Hannah More School Cafeteria. General meeting begins 8:00pm. Missed a meeting? Oversee all programs part of the council, establish council policies and procedures, and conduct all other council related business. Reaches out to the Community to help identify and meet the recreational needs of the community.

Helps facilitate and provide guidance to the Recreation Council programs and volunteers, work with community schools, other county agencies and citizens to enable recreation opportunities to be conducted. Draw up permits, work orders and other documents to enable smooth and safe usage of County Open Spaces, Facilities and property.
