Pre-K/K Volunteer Committee Descriptions

o        Set-up Refreshments
Members of this committee set up the refreshment table for recital day reception.

o        Clean-up Refreshments
Members of this committee clean up the refreshment tables after the recital reception.

o        Program
Members of this committee may assist in program design or assembling and distribute program at the recital.

o        Auditorium Clean-Up
Members of this committee clean up the auditorium after the recital.

o        Costumes
Members of this committee help organize costumes and embellishments for distribution. You do not need to know how to sew to participate in the committee.

o        Clothing Sales
Members of this committee help to organize the fall and spring clothing sale for the school.

o        Fundraising
Members organize and assist selling any fundraisers chosen by the Director to raise money for our program.

o        Backstage Mom
Members of this committee help/supervise the dancers backstage during the recital. They will not be able to be in the audience for the recital.

o        Check-In Recital Parent
Members of this committee check the dancers in before they go backstage for the recital.

Grade 1-12 Volunteer Committee Descriptions

o        Refreshments
Members of this committee set up and clean up the intermission refreshment table for recital night.

o        Program
Members of this committee may assist in program design or assembling and distribute program at the recital.

o        Auditorium Clean-Up Rehearsals/Recital
Members of this committee clean up the auditorium, cafeteria, and dressing rooms at recital venue following each rehearsal and the recital. You will be assigned a day to clean-up after one of the Recital Rehearsals and everyone will help after the recital.

o        Costumes
Members of this committee help organize costumes and help embellishments for distribution. You do not need to know how to sew to participate in the committee.

o        Fundraising
Members organize and assist selling any fundraisers chosen by the Director to raise money for our program.

o        Backstage
Members of this committee move set pieces on and off stage for set changes. They also are responsible for opening/closing the front curtain, and keeping the backstage area organized. They will not be able to be in the audience for the recital.

o        Clothing Sales
Members of this committee help to organize the fall and spring clothing sale for the school.

o        Recital Parent
Members of this committee assist and supervise the dancers backstage during the recital. They will not be able to be in the audience for the recital.

o        Scenery/Set/Backdrop
Members of this committee help draw and paint the backdrop, and they help hang the backdrop in the auditorium. They also create set pieces and props for the recital.
